Incubator
The Dulce Upfront Incubator supports artists, cultural workers, and grassroots groups in bringing their ideas to life. Through mentorship, access to space, and creative tools, our incubator nurtures culturally rooted projects from concept to community impact.
One-on-one mentorship in storytelling, event planning, and community engagement, grounded in cultural relevance and leadership development.
Year-round sliding-scale use of our modular, plant-filled venue for workshops, healing gatherings, exhibitions, rehearsals, and creative labs.
Peer learning sessions, guest-led trainings, and workshops on grant writing, cultural strategy, organizing, and tech tools.
Access to AV gear, lighting, projection, and documentation equipment through our A/V Lending Library—plus hands-on tutorials and support.
Co-Stewards
At Dulce Upfront, our Co-Stewards don’t just use the space—they shape it. From artists to Tia’s, youth to elders, painters to plant-lovers, our co-stewards hold the rhythm of our space with care, joy, and shared responsibility. Some lead programs, some show up to water plants or reset chairs. All are vital.
These are the creative leads of a zone or vibe—curating events, running projects, or stewarding specific areas like the gear room or gallery. They help hold the vision and energy of the space and guide others in shared efforts.
Not everyone has a project—and that’s beautiful. These co-stewards help with daily flow: sweeping, resetting, lifting each other up. Whether they’re family, neighbors, or visitors, they keep the space grounded, cared for, and welcoming.
From poets and painters to organizers and movement makers, our creative co-stewards use the space to bring people together. They receive collaborative support from the Dulce team and help nurture a culture of mutual inspiration and experimentation.
Co-stewardship is a practice of community care. Whether you’re helping with plants, cleaning the fridge, or showing up with good vibes, you’re contributing to something bigger. Everyone—elders, kids, couples, creatives—is invited to co-build this cultural home.
Fiscal Sponsorship
Many public arts grants—like Measure P in Fresno—require a 501(c)(3) sponsor. Dulce UpFront is here to help. If you’re an artist or small arts collective with a strong vision but no nonprofit status, we can act as your fiscal sponsor.
Personalized support to navigate grant systems—including application coaching, budget templates, and guidance on award compliance and reporting.
We provide professional bookkeeping, CPA-reviewed reports, and fiscal management so your project can stay funder-ready and transparent.
Get help connecting with insurance providers, understanding contracts, and navigating logistical needs like invoicing and vendor coordination.
We uplift and promote fiscally sponsored projects through our social media platforms, newsletters, and event calendars—helping increase your reach and build community awareness around your work and upcoming events.
